Jambo! (how are you) ha. We are doing great, here is what has happened recently:
On Sunday we had our first party. We were kind of nervous for our first one, but it went really well. We played some games-Uno, other card games, bingo, and charades. We also had juice and biscuits, or cookies for the people to eat. We had a pretty good turn out. The people seemed excited to learn these American games and we had a ton of children come which was fun.
In other news...we had our first Kenyan Sausage! Woot! ha, it was interesting. We weren't sure what type of sausage so that got us thinking it might possibly be monkey brains...which wasn't very appetizing. Kameryn thought this was especially funny and we're lucky she didn't have coffee squirting out her nose. Ha. But anyways, it made for a "good baseball"-Michael.
Also, Alice tested the foreign electricity-or in other words, she was slightly shocked. She is doing fine though. Well, as sane as she can be considering she is living with the Brewster Cousins who like to make random animal noises in the back of the taxi, of animals they see on the road, and who also rejoice at finding a gecko climbing on the wall. (Michael's comment: "I just like lizards!") We are all getting along really well however. God is blessing our trip and giving us many readers.
Well, I hope it won't be too long before we can blog again! Internet is kinda hard to come by, but thank you for your prayers and comments. We love you and miss you all!
